Dr. Ezzati is an Associate Professor of Neurology at the University of California, Irvine, where he leads the Neuroinformatics and Neurological Data Science Program. He completed postdoctoral fellowships in biomedical informatics and data science at Massachusetts General Hospital and in neuroepidemiology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine before his neurology residency at Montefiore Medical Center in New York. His research focuses on the design and data analytics of large-scale clinico-epidemiologic studies to improve diagnostics, prognosis, and therapeutic strategies for neurological disorders, with a particular emphasis on Alzheimer’s disease and headache disorders. His work is supported by several grants from the National Institute on Aging, the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, foundations and industry partners.
