This session should inform attendees on a basic science approach to understanding Protease-Activated Receptor 2 (PAR2), a potential target for treating migraine pain. Through electrophysiology techniques on human sensory ganglia, we have uncovered consequences of selective PAR2 activation on human sensory neurons, and aim to help the listener understand the findings in the context of human migraine pain.
