The presenter will present evidence pertaining to the relationship between adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and headache disorders. The presenter will summarize data illustrating how ACEs are associated both with headache disorder incidence and outcomes. The presenter will explore purported mechanisms linking ACEs to headache disorders, and will touch on future avenues for research, clinical practice, and policy improvement.
